DOOM ETERNAL | Titan RTX | Doom Eternal Xeon E5 2697v2 | Doom Eternal Titan RTX | E5-2697v2 was recorded for demonstration purposes. During this video you can see how well Xeon E5-2697v2 with 12 logical cores (12 physical cores and 12 threads while Hyper-Threading technology was disabled) play games with Titan RTX video card and 1080p resolution native display resolution. Keep in mind that RTX 2080 TI will show about the same performance and if you want to get a similar experience then get RTX 2080 Ti for 1080p or 4K resolution gaming.
This video was recorded with professional external video recording equipment and it does not reflect FPS or game performance, not by a bit, so every fps and performance that you see during this video will be exactly the same without the video recording. However, it could be some screen tearing for about 10 frames total due to latency delay on external professional video recording equipment, but the purpose of this video is to show you the performance in raw fps otherwise I would record it with Nvidia ShadowPlay with fps dropped because of the recording on the same computer but no screen tearing. We can`t have both worlds in 2020, so thanks for understanding.
What system did I use? I used Morozilla RF v1 (rendering farm version 1) that I built for rendering 4K-8K resolution videos and 3d scenes rendering into video files as my secondary computer while the primary computer can play games at the maximum fps possible. I am very happy with the results out of enterprise Intel Xeon E5 2697v2 CPU with 24 logical cores that was $2600 in 2014 and I got it for $159 used like new on eBay and prolonged my old motherboard and DDR3 hardware life for another 3 years till 2022-2023 when I will switch to AMD 128 logical cores CPU for around 450 bucks used like new. The whole system cost me only 159 bucks for Xeon E5 2697v2 due that I had all the parts such as Gigabyte X79 UD3 v1.1 motherboard and Ballistix 32 GB DDR3 1866 MHz CL9 by Crucial, Corsair case. However it would cost you $450 without video card if you will build it in 2020 or even cheaper in 2021, but make sure to flash F20 bios on Gigabyte X79 UD3 v1.1 motherboard or it will not post or will not work. This system is good for everything and it shows about 10% fps slower vs the fastest CPU in 2020 and about the same performance vs CPU that priced at $600- just for CPU and the whole system will cost you around $1000 for the latest hardware from 2020 that as fast as this Xeon E5 2697 v2 Morozilla RF v1 system.
