Doom II 1x1 [Map17] UVMax
4Really awesome map made by Nefelibeta, based off of Map06 from Flotsam, this is an incredibly difficult level centered around the BFG.
I really love this level, its very fast paced and fun to play, and despite the difficulty did not feel unfair to play. I was able to find lots of small strategies that were quite consistent, and ultimately it came down to the execution.
I did something a bit silly and recorded a demo for this before the wad was released! Changes were made to the map and the demo desynced oopsie. Thankfully though, I came back two weeks later, did some practice and rebeat this in THREE ATTEMPTS???
Got much luckier in this run than i deserved, got away with some bad play but also my key fights were very good in this. Sadly I didn't get sub 10 minutes, In practice my PB was 8:35, but in this run my "all keys" fight was pretty bad, but I was a lot more nervous than I expected.
