Yes, this map's pretty crap too. Like the previous, it starts off as nothing more than an average traipse around a stereotypical base, shooting everything in sight and looking at the very obvious 'secret' areas, all while sadly shaking your head at how monotonous it is.
And once more, the exit is poorly-guarded by a huge horde that can be avoided almost completely. In fact I think the guarding is even worse than it was in the previous, with the only real obstacle being some barrels.
Yes, barrels. Inanimate objects are your priority target. WHAAAAAAAA---?
I decide to kill pretty much everything though, and waste some time using the Chaingun on some Arch-Viles before this un-epic finale takes place. But how do I tolerate this stupid design? What drives me on to bother slaughtering the lot when I could just exit the map with the same lack-of-victory screen?
Well it's easy. You just pretend that every Hellspawn has Eric Harris' face.
And so this nonsense ends. Not the worst, but for something so notorious it's really disappointing to discover that it's nothing but a run-of-the-mill design, with the author being the only infamous thing about it. Morbid curiosity should be the only reason anyone plays this.
