Usually when creating my routes I would watch the top few demos in the DSDA archive, but I'm feeling ready to figure it out myself now, so that's what I did here. I tried many different routes, and this seemed like the most efficient to me. I knew I wanted the rocket launcher and chaingun as soon as possible, and I wanted to see how much is necessary to clear beforehand. I figured the minimal amount for clearing that area is getting the berserk for the pain elementals. Grabbing extra rockets from the circular room would've been nice to make the chaingunner trap less risky, but it also wakes up all those monsters and they do not consistently infight long enough to stay in that room by the time you're back over there. Everything after that is pretty easy. The lowering step area can get kinda messy with the lost souls, but are only a threat if you have low health. Anyways, another of my favorite Doom 2 maps. Unique concept, and has the best midi.
