I grabbed armour in the opening out of habit from trying the rocket jump but it can easily be skipped since there's a megasphere later.

There's at least a couple spots you can glide through the bars. I think if you get it fast it would save a few seconds over lowering them.

Thanks to @Seven Xavio for finding a big skip by sprinting onto the raising platform and skipping a section of the map.

There is a rocket jump that is possible on HMP but I couldn't get one in a run. There may also be some skip possible with a jump in the sewer section but I came up just short.

Very small time-save when the stairs are raising you can climb the side-ledge and jump to get up a little quicker.
