If a monster hits a barrel and then, if its explosion injures other monster - it will start attacking the monster who has hit the barrel.
It's known this bug works on PC version of Doom, but it works on Saturn as well.

Wiki says Barons of Hell can fight each other without this bug, but I can't represent it. Looks like Baron's fireball attack has 0% chance to call the pain if it hits another Baron. Moreover, the second Baron began to fight back only after being scratched, so I'm pretty sure they can't infight, unless you perform a barrel bug.
