0Duke Nukem 3D Weapons & Monsters by Don Ramon was a surprise for me, I never thought someone would make a wad that would blow Duke Nuke War Against The Doomed out of the water, and I found it one of the best mods of 2019, Fast forward to 2020 and I found this mod on Zdoom Forums: https://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=67864 But dear god.. This was not what I was expecting.
This mod appears to be a complete polar opposite to Don Ramon's Duke 3D mod, Here it tries to re-create the gameplay of Duke 3D within the Doom engine itself and...Its not very pretty to say the least (coming from a hardcore Doom and Duke player), The movement is so slippery that its tough to line up shots, Unlike that previous duke mod, Here.. You have to wait for the weapons to reload and without a reload key, expect to get shot over and over while waiting as you must RELOAD the shotgun manually with shell after shell.. That makes me angry, I regret playing this mod because I would be kidding myself saying it was actually good..
