Dornaa, the Draenei Orphan | adopt a Draenei orphan in Shattrath City | Children's Week | Choose Pet
2You can adopt a Draenei orphan in Shattrath City. Simply speak with Orphan Matron Mercy and accept her quest, Children's Week. Use the Draenei Orphan Whistle to summon your orphan, Dornaa, and complete the quest.
Upon completing this quest, your orphan will provide three new quests:
Auchindoun and the Ring of Observance: Take your orphan to the meeting stone at the Ring of Observance in the center of Terokkar Forest to summon an Alliance Adventurer. The nearest flightpath is Allerian Stronghold.
Jheel is at Aeris Landing!: Visit Aeris Landing in Nagrand with your orphan and speak with her brother, Jheel. The nearest flightpath is Tel'aar.
A Trip to the Dark Portal: Take your orphan to the Stair of Destiny, before the Dark Portal, in Hellfire Peninsula. Complete the quest objective and speak to your orphan to turn in the quest. The Dark Portal flight path can be easily reached by taking the Stormwind portal to Shattrath.
Complete these three quests to unlock two additional ones:
The Seat of the Naaru: Bring your orphan to see O'ros at the Seat of the Naaru in The Exodar. You will receive another quest, Call on the Farseer, which requires a visit to Farseer Nobundo in The Exodar's Crystal Hall. You can easily reach The Exodar from Stormwind's Portal Room.
Time to Visit the Caverns: Take your orphan to the Caverns of Time, bring her up to the platform where Zaladormu is, and buy a Toy Dragon from Alurmi, the Keepers of Time Quartermaster. The Caverns of Time can be reached via the Gadgetzan transporter, the Uldum portal in Stormwind, or ported by Zephyr if you're Revered with Keepers of Time.
Lastly, return the orphan whistle to the Matron through the quest, Back to the Orphanage. This will allow you to bring the Draenei Orphan back to the Matron in Shattrath City, and choose one of the following rewards:
Elekk Training Collar | Peanut
Sleepy Willy | Willy
Egbert's Egg | Egbert
Legs | Legs
Remember, you can complete this quest again the following year and collect all the pets eventually!
