Dos Madness | Mortal Coil (1995) a non linear FPS when you Kill ze Bugs
Its one of those rare dos games that where produced in a set time frame ... that wanted to be something special ... but failed in the execution , since the engine constrains did not helped them present theirs vision . About a special team that has to save earth from Alien bugs...
Each cutscene is interactive, you can pick what point of view you want to see, or what to say in some sections that depend on the... game performance of killing ze bugs, and doing objectives efficiently ... since if on one map, your score rating will go below a set limit... you fail, or some missions will not trigger ...
So, the version presented here ...is no the v.1.0 like the game spits at you, but the semi-fixed one ...when you no longer could clip and be stuck [same with your team] on the geometry ... but it broke the jumping ;/ making some sections not passable ... also the patch broke the AI of your team ...
If you ask , can you save in mission yes ... by pressing alt-s or ctrl-s , if you do L you load ... and what about the patch , well it was made to let you beat one section when you had to get a radiation suit , but it was clipped to the floor ... so you could not get it ... even if you could , you clipped off the map ... now all its fixed ... but jumping is broken ...
Still contemplating if a LP of this should be made ... fun game , but those bugs :/ ... or i will whisper about it to others... inspiring for a LP ...
