Around 50 minutes to "beat" this game again. Normally I would consider save abuse in an old game cheating but in this case I would consider it cheap but legit, since this port has saves built into the game. I rarely do save abuse playthroughs of old games but occasionally I'll do it for the kill and to fuck around with a game again. I only allow it if its built into the game though. On emulators I only use Save States for quick resets or to practice and learn sections, then put the game together legit. This is a game I beat legit on the original NES, before save states existed, but skills are rusty on the game.

I also tried out a glitch where Machine Gun Willy cannot hurt you with his bullets. The trick is to throw a knife so that it doesnt hit any walls and then the machine gun bullets wont hurt you if you are below the green carpet line. This wasnt a glitch I discovered, but I didnt know about it when I beat the game originally.

Accidentally set the game to 2 Player mode, so let player 2 die. I have a tutorial of this game with commentary as well:

Though this tutorial is not as refined as my others since it also used saves to cheat through the game. The legit playthrough was way before I had recording capabilities.

This port is from the Double Dragon & Kunio-Kun Retro Brawler Bundle on the Switch and played through the Yuzu emulator. It runs great with no issues on the emulator. I have 1 CC runs of Expert Mode on Double Dragon Advance , the original arcade game and many other playthroughs of various Double Dragon games in the series, including OpenBOR fan made games. Theres about 1000 playthroughs that were never recorded, since those were before 2016 when I got recording capabilities, so some Double Dragon completions were lost (Mainly the NES trilogy). This channel contains around 2000 playthroughs that have been completed since then however. Both old,new and everything inbetween with some tutorials, reviews and extreme mode completions mixed in.
