"Double Strike" for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) is an unlicensed shoot 'em up game released in 1990. It was developed by Sachen and published by American Video Entertainment Inc. and Milmar Indústria e Comércio Ltda.

The South Pacific is home to some of the world's most stunning islands, but sadly, they have fallen under the occupation of a terrorist group known as DAMED, which stands for Destructive Armed Militant Enemy Devotee. Your mission is to take control of the cutting-edge experimental fighter jet, the Thrasher Hawk-7, and engage in combat against this hostile force to liberate nine distinct islands from their grasp.

To aid in your mission, there are six unique power-ups that can be acquired by defeating specific adversaries. These power-ups enhance your capabilities, offering superior weaponry, additional bombs, and extra lives, equipping you with the tools needed to secure victory and restore peace to these picturesque island paradises.

Despite the identical title and shared release year, this is a completely different game from the licensed game by SETA Corporation called Twin Eagle published in 1989 by Romstar Inc. in the US and published in 1991 by Visco Corporation for the Family Computer in Japan.
