For Worms players: It's a shopper map, pretty simple.
Just a little project I felt like throwing myself at. I did the general layout and level design, goom helped out on the detail work (This thing would NOT look and play as nice as it does without goom's help)
Making Worms maps is pretty fun. There's all these little details you have to keep in mind, worm size, hides, animal passthroughs, stage size, and ESPECIALLY color count. Downwell is great for working with since there's only four colors to speak of.
There's a lot of custom pixel art I actually had to create here in certain cases. Filling in areas that wouldn't work for Worms gameplay, making the map play nice without a background turned on and try and make things make sense, filling in corners so we could have normal shopper corners. It's great fun honestly.
Hope you enjoy the map if you play it, I threw this trailer together for the heck of it in case people only following me on YT want to know what I'm up to every now and then.
