Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is a side scroller based on the famous novel and released for the NES in 1989 for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The player assumes the role of Dr. Jekyll who drinks a potion that brings out his inner evil and must make his way to his wedding alive. The town is rife with hoodlums who want to enrage the good Doctor and cause him to transform. After taking enough damage, Dr. Jekyll will transform and must defeat enough enemies to change back before dying.
