So, after getting the gang back together and saving the dwarves, we then spend some time trying to buy some upgrades for our friends. I think I mentioned this before but it seems as though I can’t equip them with different armor pieces and the only reason I can think of is that the Developers wanted them to have an iconic look or style. Not sure why exactly they added this but, it is what it is. Instead, it seems as though each of the characters have several different upgrades that can be purchased from different vendors and I only really notice this now. I don’t remember if I ever fully upgraded all their equipment in my own personal walkthrough (Something tells me I didn’t), so I’m hoping I can do it during this one. The upgrades, at the earlier stages, seem to be very similar to one another; they just increase the characters Defense or adds a rune spot into their armor. I’m wondering if their final upgrades are going to be specific for each character or if they will alter their entire outfit (as of right now, they don’t seem to have changed much) like an ultimate form. Regardless, of their outfits, we still have some people to help out and it seems that Feynriel is having some more issues that will require us to go into the Fade. I don’t think we’ve enter the fade in this game yet but, if you watched the original game, you’ll know exactly what that place will entail.
