So, after entering the Fade and making a rather difficult decision, we then have to talk with our Friends (Merrill and Isabella) to comfort them about their slip up’s. If you forgot, while we were in the Fade, they both betrayed me and we had to fight with them (even though they didn’t turn Tranquil?). As you might imagine, they feel kind of bad for turning against me and doing something like that so the game lets you reassure/yell at them. To be honest with you, I was more worried than angry with them because they said that, if you die in the Fade, then you become Tranquil and I didn’t want to lose them. I can understand being swayed by a demonic force and, since they do understand what they did was wrong, I can forgive them. I also think this might be a good lesson for Merrill because she is tampering with Blood Magic here and there so now that she knows how easily it is to fall for a demon, maybe she won’t succumb next time. Regardless, they apologized and with that, we can then head on over to talk with the Arishok as well as some rather shady people who are asking for some help.
