So, after killing the Dragon and meeting up with Velanna's sister, we finally get to meet up with the Architect once again. Now, before I start discusses him, I should mention that I will more than likely hit spoilers of this discussion so watch the video and then read this. Alright so, for the most part I like this dilemma they give you; Either free the Darkspawn which potentially will start future Blights but make them smarter or Kill all the Darkspawn, continue the cycle of the Old Gods and ruin the Chances of the Darkspawn becoming a smarter breed. The cool thing about this decision (not just that it's the last major one of the game) is that there are good points about either side as well as bad so that it makes you think about which might prove better (Which, you might not have got from my discussion about it since this is the second time I picked this option). On one hand, You can save the Darkspawn from the whispering Old Gods and prevent future Blights from happening again. That being said, you also are making the Darkspawn much smarter than they were which means they might still attack the Surface but be organized and fight smartly; The may not even need an Archdemon to kill everything. The other option is what I picked, since I didn't like the idea of Smarter Darkspawn, which is to murder both the Architect and the Mother which will then send the Darkspawn back down into the Deep Roads until the next Blight. If we got to talk to the Architect much more and in more depth (rather than rush through a conversation before I kill the Mother) so see his plans after freeing the Darkspawn, I might of agreed. If memory serves me correctly, The Architect only wants to free them but not lead them which means that they would have free will as well as much more intelligence. If he had some plans of establishing some sort of government or rules for them (as well as punishments for those who act out/ignore those rules), I might have totally helped him. Ending the Blights for good would be amazing since then we wouldn't have to worry about that threat. I also wanted more time to talk to the Architect since we interacted with him once and then ended playing a major part in the story.
