Dragon Age: Inquisition - 'Botanist' Trophy/Achievement Guide
62✔ Botanist - Harvest 50 herbs from Skyhold's garden in a single playthrough.
Once you unlock Skyhold, you can go to the location shown in the video and start planting herbs. However, you can only plant 2 herbs at a time. In order to increase the total, you'll need to finish the "A Greener Garden" quest. This quest can be found by picking up the letter on your desk in the Skyhold Quarters. When you complete this quest, you can upgrade to either a Chantry, or a better Garden. If you choose the Garden, you'll be able to plant 6 herbs at a time.
You can plant any seed you want. Seeds are unlocked by collecting Herbs in the wild.
In order to finish the "A Greener Garden" quest for extra pots, you need to do the following:
- Collect 30 Spindleweed, 30 Elfroot, 30 Blood Lotus: These are found pretty much everywhere. Spindleweed can be mostly found near water. You can also go the the Merchant in the Hinterlands and purchase these.
