I'm surprised the dev team put so much effort into that entirely optional scenario with all it's variations, as well as the next scenario of the Elven Alienage. At least Dog had a more relevant story part?

It does bring up the concept of locus of control of the player into the main character. Could not any character lead? Surely we're not necessarily the strongest, smartest, a great diplomat or the most resourceful: there's even a scene with Sten before the Urn of Sacred Ashes where this particular idea is challenged. And the game can end if he beats you. So it must be the Grey Warden who is the hero...but why? (We only find out later that Grey Warden's CAN only be the ones to stop the Archdemon.)

Anywho, seems the mod of the drill like hair has overwritten the standard hair templates. Hence why Alfstanna Eremon's hair is just like ours. It's fashionable among nobles!
