Bandai Namco announced an official patch for December that will fix some of the key issues plaguing the newest Dragon Ball title, so here's everything to expect in the Dragon Ball Sparking Zero! update.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero might be one of the best Dragon Ball games, but it still has some issues.
Things like the messy roster and the lack of split-screen on all maps have bugged players for a while.
Those problems, and many more, are being fixed in an update set for later this month.
Battle Setup
• A function allowing you to change a character's display method has been added.
• The "My Sets" function has been added for Team Members.
Ranked Match / Player Match
• You can now skip the intro battle animations (requires both players to input the skip command).
Player Match
• You can now set your team to hidden or revealed to your opponent when editing your team.
Custom Battle Mode
• Text can now be sorted alphabetically.
Options
• You can now set the battle camera distance to be closer.
When the long-awaited fourth Budokai Tenkaichi game, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, finally launched a few months ago, it quickly made a name for itself as one of the fastest-selling and best-received Dragon Ball games of all time. For as much love as it got, though, it's fair to say that players had a lot of minor issues with it that all added up.
