This one has been in the making for a year now. It was mainly on hold because I have been slacking off on this project. At the time, I was unsure of what to use for the lead instrument. This theme is a favorite of mine, and I wanted to make sure I used the right instruments.

After trying out so many patches and other instruments from both the "Faulconer" synths and other synths outside the usual ones, I could find nothing that would fit, at least to me. Except for Feedbacker... However, it needed something else to complement it. I then remembered I had an Alesis QSR that had different patches for leads. This is when I stumbled upon the Zoo Lead.

It may remind you of the Android 20 theme lead, but it isn't, although it would later be somewhat intentional. It turned into wanting to emphasize that these characters are catalysts of greater story arcs despite not being main villains and having shorter screen times.

This lead is quite similar to the Angry Time lead on the older QS6 model, but it has a smoothness to it. I originally tried the AT lead, but it sounded too Android 20ish for Raditz, especially at the higher ranges. It was also way too harsh. This particular zoo lead patch sounded less so, and still established a connection with the Android 20 theme that I later wanted to implement.

I would also imagine that if Julius Dobos or another composer continued the Faulconer production tracks on early DBZ and DBGT, they would use the QSR, 6.1,7.1, 8.2, etc. They would more than likely use something like that in one of the songs. I'm sure it was already used in the Buu Saga, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

I also mistakenly said the Zoo Lead was used in Android 20's theme on my Excel sheet, but that is incorrect. It was mainly Angry Time, not Zoo Lead, at least to my knowledge.
