The party continues their DLC quests in Stornway with Cosette, the old lady at the grave south of the church (time 0:20). She issues Quest 124: Risqué Respects. This is another of those annoying quests that requires grottos. She wants a Dangerous Bustier, which can be found in a rank 5 treasure chest in a grotto. The first challenge is identifying a rank 5 chest in one of your grottos. This requires a mid-level grotto.

Fortunately, my party's Silver Crypt of Doubt Lv. 38 grotto, located in the Wyrmwing region, has at least one rank 5 treasure chest. So, the party heads south to the Wyrmwing region and delves into this grotto once more (time 2:30). In this particular random dungeon, the rank 5 treasure chest in question is located on level B4 (time 5:31). Unique treasures in rank 5 treasure chests include Narspicious, Finessence, and Aggressence. They only have a 1% chance to drop the requested Dangerous Bustier. This is a pain, especially if you are playing on the Nintendo DS rather than an emulator. In this case, you would have to reset after each attempt at opening the chest.

On an emulator, you can manipulate the random number generator to some extent and reset the chest's item by taking a nearby stairway and returning. Be sure to make a save state before trying to open the chest. If it does not contain the desired item, repeat the process of taking a nearby stairway, returning, and making a save state before trying the chest again.

After about half an hour or so of repeating this process off-screen, the party finally finds their Dangerous Bustier (time 6:39).

Once they get it, they take it to Cosette in Stornway (time 7:33). Though a bit scandalized, she takes the Dangerous Bustier. She rewards the party with a pair of Gloomy Gloves, which offer Dark resistance, and several recipes: Sizzling Bikini Top, Sizzling Bikini Bottoms, Hot Bikini Top, Hot Bikini Bottoms, Silk Bustier, and Divine Bustier. Another quest concluded!

Then, they report back to the Quester's Rest in Stornway, where Erinn has another task for them (time 10:36). Concerned about Patty, she offers Quest 125: "Perk Up, Patty!"

The first step, obviously, is to talk to Patty (time 12:39). She talks about a friend called Phoebe she used to adventure with.

The next step is to Zoom off to Batsureg and talk to former Chief Batkhaan in the chief's hut (time 14:36). He reveals what became of brave Phoebe. No wonder Patty's memories are painful.

After that, the party heads back to Stornway to talk with Patty again (time 16:28).

Then, in Batsureg at night, they find the ghost of Phoebe on the hill below the chief's hut (time 17:49). She reveals what she told Patty before the end. Then, she asks the party to help her remind Patty about the joy of adventuring.

They will now have to go to the Khaalag Coast to the north (time 19:47). The thing is that they cannot use Zoom or fly on the Starflight Express, or Phoebe will lose sight of them. No, they will have to hoof it to the ship and then sail all the way around to Khaalag Coast.

After landing at the Khaalag Coast, they check out the isolated southeast grave (time 23:05). They receive the Friendant, a symbol of Patty and Phoebe's friendship. Phoebe reveals why it was there and asks the party to take it back to Phoebe.

Finally, back at the Quester's Rest, they deliver the Friendant and Phoebe's words to Patty (time 25:33). After a lovely scene, Patty joins the party! Finally, a party member from the story! She will be available to join up any time from her own Party Planning Place. Erinn seems happy, as well. All we need now is a wagon like in DQ4 and DQ5.
