This is video #094 in my playthrough of Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride. This video does not contain commentary. To view the commentary version, click here: https://youtu.be/mNMFjKgorpc

Previously, Madason and his kids have defeated Slon the Rook and Bishop Ladja in Talon's Tower. The two demons were guarding the Dragon's Left Eye and the Dragon's Right Eye respectively in the tower's basement. Now, it is time to see what these Dragon's Eyes are for.

They start by bringing Curetis the Cureslime into the active party so that he can possibly reach Level 18 in the tower and learn Multiheal.

Then, they head back to Talon Tower. Along the way, they recruit a Fat Rat named Doity (time 2:07).

After arriving, they go back into Talon Tower (time 2:30). Since they unlocked the door previously, they can go directly in the front door. Then, they need to climb a few flights of stairs.

Along the way, Curetis the Cureslime reaches Level 18 and learns Multiheal (time 5:07). Very helpful!

A few flights up, they have to examine the hook to go down with the Grappling Hook (time 7:36). This will take them down to the muzzle of the tower's dragon statue. There, they have to examine each eye socket to install the Dragon's Eyes. This causes the statue to open its mouth and stick out its tongue so that the party can gain entry!

Unfortunately, the party cannot just drop down to the tongue, so they must drop all the way down to the first floor and climb back up to the statue's tongue. It is not very far, fortunately. After climbing back up, they cross the tongue bridge and enter the dragon statue (time 11:20).

Inside the dragon statue, they start on the fourth floor. First, they need to go downstairs to the third floor (time 12:02). Here, they have to go straight south and use the Grappling Hook to go downstairs (time 12:32). This will deposit them on a small ledge that they cannot access from the ladders.

Then, they have to go north through the door into a shrine-like room with a pedestal on a symbol of a dragon (time 13:05). Inside, they can get the Dragon Orb from the pedestal (time 13:32). Nice! Removing this orb has an interesting effect.

Afterwards, they leave the shrine room (time 14:24). Then, they can drop off the ledge to the bottom. On the statue's bottom floor, they pick up the Dragon Staff (time 14:47). This is, in fact, one of the best weapons available for the protagonist. The Metal King Sword is only 5 points of attack power better.

Afterwards, they backtrack out of the tower. When they are out, they return to Zenithia (time 17:03).

The party's destination in Zenithia, where two Zenithians are confronting poor Dr Agon (time 20:53). Oh, no! Have we been deceived?

Fortunately, all will be clarified wonderfully when the party presents the Dragon Orb to Dr Agon (time 22:36). Dr Agon ... get it? After his true form is revealed, the party receives the Zenithian Tintinnabulum, a bell that will allow them to use the best form of transportation in the game.

After the wonderful scene, the party pops over to the Knick-Knackatory (time 28:05). After summoning nightfall, they head to the top floor to get information about the Yggdrasil Sapling. It is just a poor, pitiful thing right now, but just wait.

Next, they will need to revisit Mostroferrato. It turns out that poor Rodrigo is about to have a humongous problem.

Thanks for watching!
