Works great like the other Dragon Quest mainline game. This one seems perfectly fine in Native stereo. Some cutscenes have some letterboxing and you can see some hacky methods the devs used to put some post processing in the frame. Like other games any zooming doesn't affect your view so you see everything outside the intended frame. Otherwise the game is classic Dragon Quest with a hint of the most recent Pokemon games, using monsters abilities and some real time combat like the tales games.

Found the game seemed to crash then turning on the temporal upscaler. Had to delete the config as would crash on startup with it already set in the previous run.

First person was quite good and just attach to pawn and then hide the character mesh. But in this kind of game you wouldn't really want to be in first person, the areas are so wide and massive that the tiny world scale works really well here. So adjusted my UI to match making it smaller and bringing it closer.
