The party has finally reached the lowest level of the Underkeep, Murdaw's Throne Room. The time has come to take out Somnia's nemesis. Before approaching the big green fiend, be sure to heal up, equip a good single-target weapon on the hero, and perhaps provision everyone with two or three Amor Seco Essences. Milly having Midheal (Level 13) is an excellent idea.

Up the stairs, the party talks to Murdaw (time 1:30). Heh, he looks like a huge green slug.

After the dialogue, it is boss time against Murdaw (time 2:00). He has decent attack power and can deal 20+ points of damage to the men, even if they have Platinum Mail and Dragon Shields. He can up his defence with Buff. Irritatingly, he can also randomly change the party's tactics. I believe he also has a fire breath attack.

If the men have Platinum Mail and Dragon Shields from the Casino, they are pretty well set. The Enchanted Armour from Weaver's Peak will help one of the ladies, as well. Two levels of Sap from Heorot or Ashlynn will destroy Murdaw's defence, leaving him open to pummeling from Carver's Double Up. Milly should increase party members' defence with Buff, especially her own and Ashlynn's. If a party member has taken substantial damage, she will need to use Midheal. Heorot may need to do backup healing. Ashlynn should Sap Murdaw again if he boosts his defence with Buff.

At the end of the battle, Carver, the Roaming Warrior, reaches Level 16 (time 4:07). Ashlynn, the Runaway Teen, reaches Level 9.

A scene will occur after the battle (time 4:40). The vile Murdaw threatens to retreat, but Apnea swiftly tells Heorot to use Ra's Mirror. When he does, the Murdaw that the party just fought is revealed to be none other than King Somnus! After a moment of disorientation, Somnus realizes that he is in the dream world. He also notices something about Heorot. Captain Blade barges in with the cavalry. After a rusty pun, the king instructs Blade to escort him and the queen back to their castle. Somnus also tells the party to visit him at the castle later.

The party regains control in Murdaw's throne room after the scene (time 8:24). Carver's party chat echoes my thoughts.

Done here, the party uses Evac to escape the dungeon (time 9:34). Then, they Zoom back to Somnia in the dream world (time 10:31). They head directly north to Somnia Castle (time 11:27).

Up in the throne room, they talk to the nervously pacing chancellor (time 11:58). Evidently, Captain Blade and the royals have not arrived yet! How can that be? The next morning, the chancellor is at a total loss. He asks the party to seek the king's party and also to keep the situation hush-hush. Sounds like a plan. Carver will have a few words to say, but I don't think he has quite hit the nail on the head.

The party heads back downstairs to the second floor (time 14:49). As they step down, Ashlynn's light bulb will come on. She believes the king meant Somnia Castle in the real world!

So, the party zooms back to the real world and then to Somnia (time 16:08). This time, the town is hopping because the king and queen are awake again. Well, that's more like it!

The party heads north to Somnia Castle (time 18:07). However, when they talk to the guard, they don't exactly get a warm reception. In fact, the guard takes them directly to jail! Nuts.

Fortunately, after the party pokes around their cell for a moment, the guard will rush back and open the door (time 20:39). He will take them right up to Somnus's throne room for an audience. The king asks to hear the truth about what happened, and he should hear it. He notes that Heorot does indeed bear a great resemblance to his son. Interesting... Somnus will then relate the day he sailed off to do battle with Murdaw. Something strange happened to him, and next thing he knew, he was Murdaw in the dream world. What a horrendous nightmare! After lauding the party for their victory, he asks the party to go and meet him outside.

When Somnus leaves, the party regains control in the throne room (time 24:44).

Description continued in the comments.
