Previously, the party located Château de Sass in the real world, on the southwestern part of the island where Wellshire is located. This eccentric locale is home to the Best-Dressed Contest. The party will need to participate to get the Flying Carpet.
Before entering, they prepare Milly for Level 1 of the contest (time 0:35). Her mastery of the Luminary vocation helps her out immensely. She equips the Miracle Sword (prize for 40 Mini Medals), a Flowing Dress (armour shop in the well south of Alltrades Abbey in the real world), Glass Slippers (Sunken Ship north of Pescado), a Silver Tiara (armour shop in Port Haven), and a Silver Platter (Ultimate Key in Poseidon's Palace). Ashlynn is another excellent choice, especially if she has mastered Luminary.
Then, they talk to the bouncer to enter the contest (time 1:32). Level 1 is open to any party member. In the northwest dressing room, they talk to the man at the door to the runway (time 2:52). He will provide information about the contest, the judging, and most importantly the prizes. The Level 1 prize is a Silver Platter. The Level 2 prize is a Trailblazing Bandana. The Level 3 prize is the Plush Rug. The Level 4 prize is a set of Glass Slippers. the Level 5 prize is a Platinum Headgear. The Level 6 prize is a Shimmering Dress. The Level 7 prize is a Sage's Stone. There is plenty of good stuff to get, and the Plush Rug is required to complete the game.
After hearing all the information, Heorot enters Milly in the contest (time 5:28). Her Style stat is 221, so she should easily win Level 1. Of course, having her vocation set as a maxed-out Luminary will increase her chances even more, but her passive stat increase from maxing the vocation is good enough.
She joins the back of the line (time 6:31). This contest gets a bit repetitive after a while. When it reaches your turn, just go down the runway and then come back to your starting spot (time 9:08). At the end, Milly wins the contest handily an earns the party another Silver Platter (time 10:21).
The party regains control atop the stairway to the catwalk (time 12:07). Then, they set up Heorot for Level 2 of the competition. He uses the Platinum Sword (prize for 30 Mini Medals), Platinum Shield (Ultimate Key treasure in Somnia Castle in the real world), Platinum Mail (Ultimate Key treasure in Howcastle or Port Haven Casino), Slime Earrings (northeast dressing room in Château de Sass), and Thinking Cap (armour shop in the well south of Alltrades Abbey in the real world). This puts his Style at 223, which is high enough to win the next two rounds.
Then, the party talks to the bouncer to enter (time 13:25). The Level 2 contest is open only to men. Afterwards, they talk to the registration man in the northwestern room to enter Heorot in the contest (time 14:49). Of course, it will be easier when he masters Luminary and eats some Pretty Betsies, but he'll be fine as he is.
After the results are in, Heorot wins Level 2 and acquires another Trailblazing Bandana (time 19:31).
Next, Heorot turns right around and talks to the bouncer to enter Level 3 (time 21:33). Level 3 is open to any party member. In the northwest dressing room, Heorot talks to the registration chap to register himself (time 22:26).
When the results are in, Heorot wins Level 3 and acquires the Plush Rug (time 27:07). The party will have to take this to the Sorens in Sorceria before it will be of any use, which they will do next time.
Thanks for watching!
