Previously, Davilas completed the extended story quest line for Azlan. The next quest on his list is Quest 121, which unlocks use of the Magic Labyrinth.

After logging in, Davilas zooms over to Rendoa (time 1:13). At B-6 in the northern part of Rendoa, he talks to the fur rat named Ronde (time 2:52). Sanbitara rewards Davilas with Mini Medal #235 for talking to him. Counting the 43 he has already spent, Davilas is currently at 192 medals.

Then, Ronde issues Davilas Quest 121 to unlock use of the Magic Labyrinth. This quest requires Level 20, so Davilas could have taken care of it a long time ago.

After receiving the quest, Davilas chooses to enter the Magic Labyrinth (time 5:43). Now, if he is not in a party with live players, the game will try to mix and match him with players of a similar level entering the labyrinth. The layout and type of the labyrinth are chosen at random.

Then, he arrives in the labyrinth (time 6:29). If you're with live players, it is important to be polite and use the greeting "Yoroshiku..." (よろしくお願いします). This means, "Nice to meet you." The entrance room of each labyrinth contains a fountain in which you can enter coins for certain features, such as specific bosses or types of enemies. Interestingly enough, Davilas is the tallest individual in his party! That doesn't happen every day.

Davilas goes through the door to the second level (time 7:30). Here, his party gets lucky and meets a bunch of Metal Slimes! On each level, one's party has to defeat all the enemy troops to proceed.

On the first level, Davilas reaches Armamentalist Level 34 (time 8:46). He earns 5 skill points.

At the end of the second level, Davilas scores 3 Urubea gold pieces (time 10:13).

Then, Davilas proceeds to the third level (time 10:22). He puts his 5 skill points into Fource for a total of 68. At 68 points, he learns MP Passer, which shares MP with another party member.

After clearing this level, Davilas finds a chest with two Gold Stones (time 11:33).

Then, he continues on to the fourth level (time 11:47). The chest at the end of this level contains a Gold Bar (time 14:44). This will be worth many, many pretty pennies!

Davilas continues to the fifth level (time 14:54). Immediately before a labyrinth's boss room, there is a floor with a couple of chests that contain prizes.

One chest contains three Magic Vials (time 15:19). The other chest contains one more Magic Vial.

Finally, Davilas proceeds through the door to the boss level (time 15:35). The boss of this dungeon is Equinox. This cantankerous equine is not as nasty as he was in Dragon Quest IX.

Davilas and company defeat the Equinox handily (time 17:17). Then, a message box indicates that Davilas has satisfied Ronde's request. It sounds like a player can start a Magic Labyrinth under his or her own power once per day.

After beating the boss, it is polite to say, "おつかれさまでした", which is a form of congratulation.

On this occasion, Equinox drops a chest containing a Metal Slime Coin (time 18:16). Also, a purple chest near the exit will contain an allotment of Lottery Tickets (time 18:36). On this occasion, it contains three Lottery Tickets.

Near, the exit, there will be a spike-head. If you wish, you can talk to this creature to take another tour through the Magic Labyrinth.

For now, Davilas takes the door to exit the Magic Labyrinth (time 19:01). He is returned to the area where he was when he entered the labyrinth.

Afterwards, he talks with Ronde the fur rat at B-6 in northern Rendoa (time 19:48). He rewards Davilas with the Magic Key key item, which he can use while out in the open to enter the Magic Labyrinth. Quest 121 complete!

Next, Davilas gets himself swept away to Megisutorisu (time 22:29). After getting a Ruura Stone set for this town, he visits Puratina/Platina, the hairdresser in the salon at F-4 (time 25:29). She issues Quest 122. This can be accepted in Gaatoranto, Kamiharumui, Doruwaamu, or Verinaado, as well. She needs Magical Essence dropped by the Aloe Demon. The Aloe Demon is the green shrubbery critter. It can be found in many places, including the southern tip of the Kirika Grassland.

Davilas zooms home to Azlan (time 26:49). He exits to the Azlan countryside (time 28:45). He takes a carriage ride to the northeastern encampment (time 29:03). From there, he exits northeast to Kirika Grassland (time 29:49).

The Aloe Demons are located in the southern end of Kirika Grassland (time 32:29). After a few attempts, Davilas gets the Magical Essence (time 33:37).

Then, he zooms back to Megisutorisu (time 33:57).
