Previously, the party found Sorceria after having defeated Gracos. They heard something intriguing about a Flying Carpet, but it seems to have fallen into the hands of a stylish fat cat somewhere. The party will now find this stylish fat cat.
They start out by Zooming to Wellshire in the real world (time 0:33). From there, they sail around to the southwestern end of the island where Wellshire is located (time 1:47). If you pull up the map here, you'll notice that there is a building located in a valley by a lake in the mountains. So, the party dives underwater here and goes north through an undersea tunnel. When they are in the enclosed area, they surface. This takes them to the lake near the building.
This new location is Château de Sass (time 2:14). I find it curious that the Fashion Forge rates an entry in the Zoom list but this place does not. Criticism aside, this house belongs to Seymour Sass, a maven who hosts fashion contests in his own cellar, and he awards the winner with "exotic prizes." Sounds to me like a fat cat who can afford a Flying Carpet. One of the visitors at his bar even mentions that one prize is "a carpet that's just to die for." Sadly, he doesn't provide a priest capable of saving the game.
Downstairs, the party finds Seymour's Underground Theatre (time 7:22). This is where the fashion show, the Best-Dressed Contest takes place. There are eight levels to this contest. For the moment, the party enters just to talk with people and learn about the place. Both dressing rooms are accessible. It sounds like our mysterious swordsman is the one who most recently won the ultimate title of Sass Assassin. One of the biggest tips for the fashion contest is to master the Luminary vocation and equip a common set of equipment, notably a full set of Platinum gear.
In the northeast dressing room, the chests of drawers contain a Hairband and Mini Medal #064 (time 13:03).
In the northwest dressing room, the drawers contain a pair of Slime Earrings and a Pretty Betsy (time 20:25).
Then, the party watches the Level 1 Best-Dressed Contest (time 21:39). This provides a clue about the Style stat required to clear this level. I must say, the competition doesn't look too stiff. It looks like 193+ points are required to win.
Next time, the party will start participating in the Best-Dressed Contest and try to get the Flying Carpet.
Thanks for watching!
