Previously, the party continued the quests for the Tale of Interwoven Bonds of Courage storyline. Anlucia continued learning the techniques for breaking evil from the Crown of Wisdom sages. The party carried out Quest 274: "Guardian" for Sage Eidos, and Anlucia learned the Coup de Grâce ability Hero's Shield. They also carried out Quest 275: "Fighting Spirit" for Sage Horro, and Anlucia learned Hero's Heart. Now, the party will begin seeking the surviving Scarlet Godstones while giving Anlucia a chance to practice her new abilities.
Real Gran Zedora (time 0:30):
The party resumes in the church in the Kingdom of Real Gran Zedora. They go outside and Zoom to the Kingdom of Real Arahagiro.
Real Arahagiro (time 4:47):
On floor 1F, Borul at E-7 has story info.
On floor 3F, the party takes the doors at D-6/E-6 to the throne room. This triggers a scene with King Moonis. It appears to be an epilogue to the "Dawn of Arahagiro" story quest line. Moonis has learned a bit from Karevan, and he tells the party what he has learned. When the Great Demon King's forces attacked the Pyramid, Arahagiro went to war to protect it. To even the playing field, Captain Goliath drafted the head of the Monster Arena, Belmud, and the monsters imprisoned in the arena. When Belmud objected, Goliath threatened to have the monsters killed. Of course, one of those monsters was Serafi. The monsters were sent to the front lines to shield the human soldiers. When Arahagiro, General Zerdrad approached Belmud. Despite Karevan's objections, Belmud sold his soul to the demons and became king of Fake Arahagiro. But even so, as Hussar says, Karevan and Serafi managed to retain their trust.
In the throne room on 3F, the party talks to King Moonis at D-5/E-5. Moonis issues Quest 276: "Desert Treasure", a quest in the Tale of Interwoven Bonds of Courage storyline. The war against the Great Demon King has left Arahagiro's finances depleted, so he wants the party to help find a treasure in the Pyramid's Stone Chamber of the Sun. However, to reach this treasure, the Phantom Sun Mirror (幻日の鏡) is required. It was in Arahagiro's treasury ... but Moonis broke it! It is too badly damaged to repair. The party's first objective is to seek another Phantom Mirror, even though there is only one in the world. Could there be one in Fake Arahagiro?
The party heads down to the Courtyard. They Zoom to the Kingdom of Fake Arahagiro.
Fake Arahagiro (time 16:21):
On floor 2F, the party talks to Danlon outside the treasury at E-5. When Belmud died, a Grim Rider (ボーンナイト) stole the mirror from the treasury. What a pane. The party's next objective is to hunt Grim Riders in the Fake Arahagiro Region to obtain the Phantom Sun Mirror.
On floor 1F, the party exits south at D-8/E-8 to the Fake Arahagiro Region.
Fake Arahagiro Region (time 19:42):
Just outside the city, the party begins hunting Grim Riders (ボーンナイト) starting around C-3/C-4. Nothing too challenging at this point.
From a monster drop, the party obtains the "Lonely Louie's Request" scroll, a three-star difficulty request. The reward is 12 pieces of Lambswool (やわらかウール). They also acquire a recipe for the Platinum Plumes (プラチナウィング) boomerang, which requires Smithing Level 40. However, they already know this recipe.
After a few battles, the party obtains the Phantom Sun Mirror (幻日の鏡) key item. The next objective is to deliver it to King Moonis in Real Arahagiro.
The party earned a Seed of Strength upon completing Quest 275 in the previous video. Anlucia consumes this seed.
The party Zooms to the Kingdom of Real Arahagiro.
Real Arahagiro (time 24:02):
On floor 3F, the party enters the doors at D-6/E-6 to the throne room for a scene with King Moonis. They hand in the Phantom Sun Mirror. Anlucia explains that the party has come to seek Arahagiro's Scarlet Godstone. She believes it is in the Stone Chamber of the Sun in the Pyramid. Moonis agrees to help. He is going to the Pyramid himself. Minister Caboose gives the party the Rosetta Dictionary (古代文字解読辞典), which will let them decipher the stone monuments in the Pyramid. The party's first objective there is to find a slab that details a certain dance that will unlock certain doors in the Pyramid.
The party heads down to the Courtyard. They Zoom to the Real Pyramid destination in the Real Defel Wilderness.
