Previously, the party began working on the Tale of Twin Wings of Hope Flying into the Sky storyline. When they visited Sage Lushenda again, Crows arrived and gave them the Dragon Flute. This began Quest 279: "To the Dragon's Nest". The party explored the Draklon Mountains, home of the flying dragons, south of the Real Rovos Highlands. After defeating the Flying Dragons at the Flying Dragon Peak, they gathered the Dragonfire Stones for Wandora, the Dragonguard. The Dragonfire Stones incubated the wyvern egg that Wandora had been guarding, and Heorot became the proud "daddy" of Hiryu, an adorable young flying dragon. With Hiryu, the party can now fly to Real Eterne Island, where they must seek Pegasus, the Sky Steed, for Anlucia.

Real Gran Zedora (time 0:30):

The party resumes in the church in the Kingdom of Real Gran Zedora. Note that the Dragon Flute is now listed on the quick menu that opens when you press the R2/ZR button.

They go outside and Zoom to the Real Gran Zedora Castle - Entrance destination.

Real Gran Zedora Castle (time 4:33):

In the Sage's Office on floor 2F of the castle, the party talks to Sage Lushenda at F-6. She reminds them that their objective is to fly to Eterne Island in the Rendashia Inland Sea and seek Pegasus, the Sky Steed. Anlucia needs Pegasus's help to break the barrier around Madesagora's palace.

The party goes out to the Terrace on floor 3F. They use the Dragon Flute to take off on Hiryu.

Sky above Real Rendashia (time 6:59):

The party flies south from Gran Zedora to the Rendashia Inland Sea. Selecting Eterne Island at E-5, they choose to land in Real Eterne Village.

Real Eterne Village (time 7:33):

As the party arrives in Real Eterne Village, a cutscene takes place. They comment on the state of things.

The party gains control at F-2 in Real Eterne Village (真のエテーネの村). The Real Eterne Village destination is added to the Zoom Stone.

There is little to find in town itself, aside from Hana, a Hat Shamwitch-family critter with a colorful hat outside what remains of Heorot's house. Look out for the toxic pools. The streams do have fishing available, though.

At F-4, the party enters a basement below the base of the former carving of Lord Kame. In this basement, they take the door at E-6 to the interior room. This triggers a scene with Crows and Lord Kame. Crows was waiting for the party here. This room was meant to be Lord Kame's safehouse in case something happened to the village. Curious that Crows should know this, huh? Crows congratulates Heorot on taming a flying dragon to come here. He also knows that the party is here to seek Pegasus, the legendary Sky Steed. It turns out that Lord Kame is really Pegasus! He lost his power in a confrontation long ago. He came to Eterne Village and transformed to a turtle to rest and recuperate. To regain his power and become Pegasus again, Lord Kame needs a Tensu Flower. Of course, the Tensu Flowers growing in the Clear Water Cave were exterminated by Magic Demon Bedra during the prologue. It should now be obvious that Bedra did this to prevent Kame from becoming Pegasus ever again. However, Crows believes that somewhere on Eterne Island, there is a key to finding Tensu Flowers elsewhere. He asks the party to seek this key on Eterne Island.

The specific destination for this key is not spelled out. However, Quest 280 now appears on the quest list. In addition, Eterne Village is not the only settlement on Eterne Island. Upon landing, we also saw an option for Narvia Town (ナルビアの町). The party can get there by flying or by exploring on land. For the sake of gathering treasure, the party will explore the island on foot.

The party gains control outside Lord Kame's refuge after the scene. They can go back in for a reminder from Crows.

After resurfacing, the party exits north at F-2 to the Real Nurturing Land (真の育みの大地).

Real Nurturing Land (time 16:50):

There are no new monsters or treasures to find in the Real Nurturing Land. It is the same as it was at the start of the game.

At E-1, the party exits north to the Real Nameless Meadow (真の名もなき草原).
