Dragon Quest X [PC] (Commentary) #237, Version 2.2 Quest 341: A Dancer and a Wish
This is video #237 in my Dragon Quest X for PC gameplay series. This video contains commentary. To view the non-commentary version, click here: https://youtu.be/OcgheHuCkDU
Davilas is currently carrying out the Version 2.2 storyline. Previously, he carried out Quest 340, the first of three quests in Dharma Temple. Now, he will continue with Quest 341.
The version 3.5.8 update just installed. Upon logging in, Davilas obtains some kind of gift card. This seems to be part of some event running from September 6, 2017, to November 30, 2017. There appear to be several other changes, as well.
After checking mail and putting his party together, Davilas heads northwest from True Seredo to the grounds of True Dharma Temple (time 8:12).
On the dais in the central room on the first floor, he talks to Ridi, a little Minstrel girl at D-4 (time 10:10). She issues him Quest 341: A Dancer and a Wish. She asks Davilas to meet her at the Hill of Hope overlooking the sea in western Rhone Forest.
After getting his Ruura Stone set for Dharma Temple, he goes to Rendoa and gets himself teleported to the camp in True Rhone Forest (time 13:27).
The Hill of Hope is at C-5 to the west of the camp (time 15:56). Davilas and Ridi arrive to find Priest Zodera praying there. She tries to talk to him, but it does not seem to go well. While she prays, she finds a flower that has yet to bloom. After the scene, she heads back to Dharma Temple.
Davilas zooms back to Dharma Temple (time 19:58). A scene occurs as he enters the center room (time 20:43). Ridi runs up to him and rewards him with 10 Lottery Tickets. Quest 341 complete! Hm, I think her boss, Gizanto, is the same person Zodera was talking with in the Seredo pub.
Next time, Davilas will continue the storyline with Quest 342.
