Dragon Quest XI [Jp,PS4] Playthrough #007, Derukadaaru Castle: Cold Reception

Previously, Davilas explored the bulk of Derukadaaru Castle Town for its treasures and quests. This time, he will finish exploring town and then head into the castle. But first, he will pick up a couple of treasures that I know he missed in the lower part of town.
In the northwest of town, one of the pots contains 20 Gold (time 1:11).
Along an alley west of the equipment shop, one of the barrels contains a Copper Ore (time 1:28).
At the armour shop, Davilas picks up a Leather Armour (time 1:48).
Afterwards, he goes upstairs to the well-heeled part of town.
In the east, a barrel contains 3 Gold (time 4:24).
Behind the southeast house, Davilas can squeeze through a bush and find a chest containing a "Maryoku" Seed (time 4:53). I don't recognize "Maryoku". Maybe it's Magical Attack.
In the northeast house, a chest contains 100 Gold (time 6:33). Nice!
On the porch of the northwest house, one pot contains a Medicinal Herb (time 9:06).
In the southwest house, a wardrobe on the lower level contains Plain Clothes (time 9:39).
Upstairs, a barrel contains 25 Gold (time 10:05).
A scene occurs as Davilas approaches the guards in front of the castle (time 11:01). I can't get over how many of the guards' visors are so low that it hides their eyes from the camera. They won't let him enter ... until they see the pendant that he's carrying. After one of them goes inside and returns, they allow him to pass.
Afterwards, Davilas is in Derukadaaru Castle (time 12:33). Unfortunately, the northern rooms on the first level are off-limits.
One of the guards by the pool has some story info (time 13:35).
In the little outside area to the west, one of the southern pots contains a Butterfly Wing (time 14:59).
One of the northern pots in the same area contains 7 Gold (time 15:27).
Upstairs on the second floor, a wardrobe in one of the western rooms contains Wayfarer's Clothes (time 16:22).
In the southwestern room, there is a chest (time 18:15). However, the nearby man stops Davilas from taking it.
In the guard room to the east, a pot contains a Medicinal Herb (time 19:28). The neighboring pot contains an Antidotal Herb.
In the southeast room, a wardrobe contains a Leather Hat (time 20:09).
Along the hall leading north, the rooms on the east and west side are blocked off. However, the stairways leading up to the third floor are open.
Atop the western staircase, there is a pot containing a Medicinal Herb (time 21:58).
In the southern hall, there are two more pots in the northeast (time 22:58). One contains a "Shinkou" Seed. Could this be for Magical Mending?
Davilas takes the southern door to the balcony (time 23:44). This area affords a lovely view of the town.
On the balcony, one of the southeast barrels contains Mini Medal #002 (time 24:03). Certainly not to be missed!
One of the northwestern pots on the balcony contains a Single Phial (time 24:44).
Back inside, one of the pots in the hallway around the eastern stairway contains a Strong Medicine (time 26:07).
In the north of the second floor, Davilas passes through the door into the throne room (time 26:56). A scene plays as he meets King Derukadaaru and his generals, General Greg and Strategist Homeros. As well as two rows of well-armed guards. At first, they seem excited about the arrival of the Hero. Davilas tells them that he has been living in Ishi Village. The king sends Homeros out with a group of guards. Then, General Greg and a group of guards arrest Davilas! Apparently, the king believes that the Hero is the descendant of the Demon King! I don't like the gleam in his eye at the end there.
Afterwards, General Greg and the guards lead Davilas to a dungeon cell (time 30:41). After locking Davilas in, Greg says that Homeros will be back in three days, and then they will know more.
When Davilas regains control in the dungeon cell, the player earns a new accolade (time 31:45). Looks like "Captive Hero". Also, the player earns a trophy, "Beginning of Adventure". And what a beginning!
The two pots in Davilas's cell are empty (time 32:23). However, breaking them will provoke a reaction from his neighbor.
