Previously, after we created our characters, Davilas helped Shini, the young man in the church, make a new pillow for Aba-sama. Then, he sought out his mischievous brother, Talint, who was dabbling in alchemy outside of Eteene village.

Now, after resuming, Davilas goes to Aba-sama's room to check up on her (time 0:33). She seems quite improved!

In the next scene, she addresses the villagers (time 1:46). They seem a bit agitated by what she has to say. Davilas will now have to go seek out some Tensu flower, along with Talint and Shini, who makes short work of an Onion monster. Talint has the Heal spell, while Shini has the Blaze/Frizz spell.

At the shop, Davilas picks up some leather gloves and leather boots (time 8:17).

Then, the party heads outside of town to scrounge up some experience and gold in the northern section of the first area north of Eteene.

When the road turns east, your avatar can check the ground for some medicinal herbs (time 11:20). This area is littered with Hammerhoods and Horned Hares/Bunicorns. The bunnies like to raise their tension. The Hammerhoods miss frequently, but if their blows land, they are always critical.

In the northwest of the area, you can farm for Golden Tanglewebs to sell (time 15:34).

From a blue chest by the little steppe in the northeast, Davilas can pick up a magic water that restores about 35 MP (time 16:43).

After relieving a rabbit of its tension, Davilas reaches Level 4 (time 17:14). He learns Zao, equivalent to Vivify/Zing. It has a chance to revive a dead party member with 1 HP.

A few minutes later, he reaches Level 5 (time 24:51). He learns a spell called Rihoimi, which gives an ally an HP regeneration buff.

East of the steppe, there is a dead end where more medicinal herbs can be farmed (time 26:47).

And of course, you can still farm for Golden Tanglewebs in that cul-de-sac where you found the inscribed stones are (time 28:40).

Back at the shop in Eteene village, Davilas picks up a bronze sword, leather leggings, and leather body armor (time 30:10).

Afterwards, Davilas leads his party to the second area north of the village (time 34:51). Slime Knights and Gremlins can be found in the southern part of this area. Be careful of the Gremlins' fire breath, which can hit those directly in front of it. Oh, to be able to control party members individually like in FF12.

Before long, Davilas reaches Level 6 (time 39:22). No new spells.

Medicinal herbs can be found where the southern section joins the central section in D-6 of this area (time 42:34).

The southeast corridor is home to Treevil-type monsters. They can deplete a party member's MP with a strange jig, so take care.

After defeating a Treevil-type, Davilas reaches Level 7 (time 44:35). He learns "Riremito," which I think is Outside/Evac.

More Golden Tanglewebs are in the southeast of this corridor (time 45:22). There are some red bags right across from them (time 45:33). The graphic reminds me of DQ9's Coagulants.

To the north are Chimaeras and Orcs. The Chimaeras have fire breath, while the Orcs have Multithrust.

By a pond in the west, Sleeping Hibiscus can be farmed (time 51:56).

Davilas reaches Level 8 (time 52:50). The spell he learns, "Hyado," looks like an Ice Bolt/Crack spell.

In a little dead end, you can farm more Golden Tanglewebs (time 53:39).

In the northeast, there appears to be a blocked-off entrance (time 54:39). More medicinal herbs can be found nearby.

In the northern part of the area, even more medicinal herbs can be found (time 55:07).

By the northwest pond, more Sleeping Hibiscus can be found (time 55:56).

Back in Eteene village, Davilas concludes his purchases with a bronze shield, a leather helmet, and a "pin stick" wand (time 59:54).

Next, Davilas and company will investigate the cave to the north and try to find the Tensu flower.
