This is video #030 in my playthrough of Dragon Quest XI: 過ぎ去りし時を求めて (Echoes of an Elusive Age). I am playing the Japanese version for the Sony PlayStation 4. Previously, the party traveled west through Daahara Marshes and reached the Spirit Cave. Currently, they're traveling north along the western corridor. Now, they will finish their journey through the cave to find the ingredient for Birdsong Nectar.

In the next battle, Davilas reaches Level 16 (time 1:05). He learns "Rarihou", or Snooze, which can put enemies to sleep. He gains 2 skill points for a total of 7.

In the north of the area, on an outside ledge, the party finds a welcome campsite (time 3:47). At the Mysterious Blacksmith, their crafting level increases. Unfortunately, they don't have any Silver Ore yet to make a Silver Rapier.

South of the campsite, there is a chest along the west wall containing Mini Medal #012 (time 4:41).

Along the wall east of the chest, there is a farming point for Fresh Water (time 7:36).

As the party continues on, Sylvia reaches Level 17 (time 8:50). He earns 3 skill points for a total of 12. In the bottom skill tree, Sylvia picks up Chaos Dance for 12 skill points. This will let him get Hustle Dance once he accrues 14 skill points.

Senya reaches Level 16. She learns "Behoimi", or Midheal. She gains 2 skill points for a total of 7. She puts her 7 points into the upper Spear ability, which deals additional damage to undead. I think this ability may be Deliverance.

To the south, west, and south, the party finds a farming point for Nectar Thread (time 11:06).

Back north and to the west, the party finds a chest containing a Faerie Wand (time 12:28).

Following the path to the east, the party will run into an event battle (time 13:50). They must battle two Sea Golems. Each Sea Golem has strong attack power and high defense. They have a water geyser attack that will hit each party member for around 25 points of damage.

If Senya is Level 16, her Midheal spell will make this battle much more manageable. Davilas and Sylvia have a Renkei that raises the whole party's attack power, similar to the War Drum in DQ5. Buffing the party with Senya will help, as well. Veronica's attack magic and Sap spell will be helpful.

Past the Sea Golems, the party will find a lovely spring (time 17:39). Senya uses it to make some Birdsong Nectar. Now, the party must take the nectar to the little boy in Daaharuune.

To the east, a rope will allow the party to climb out.

In a dead end along the way out, there is a chest containing a Seed of Magic (time 18:57). It raises Max MP.

In a chamber to the south, there is a chest containing a Green Eye (time 19:37).

On a nearby ledge, the party can lower a rope for convenient access later (time 20:01). Not that it is particularly needed at this point. The party has already collected the treasure past it.

The party heads back out to the Daahara Marshes (time 20:42).

Outside, the party zooms to the eastern camp in Daahara Marshes. There, they check in with the Bodkin (time 21:14). Since they have shot all the targets in the area, the Bodkin rewards them with four Seeds of Dexterity.

The party rests and saves at camp. Next time, they will head back to Daaharuune to deliver the Birdsong Nectar to little Yahimu.
