This is video #104 in my playthrough of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. I am playing the Western version for the Sony PlayStation 4. Previously, the party carried out some more quests at the Warrior's Rest Inn, L'Académie, and the Snærfelt. Now, they will explore the sky-accessible locations on the ground in search of treasures. They will leave Battleground for later.

After resuming, they play the Calamus Flute to take to the skies.

In the northwest, they first land at Sniflheim - Whale Way Station. In the south, there is a locked shrine that cannot be opened. West of the shrine, a chest contains the recipe book "An Album of Imperial Attire". This contains recipes for Emperor's Attire and Empress's Robes.

North of Mordegon's castle, the party lands in the Lost Land. On the northwest side of the Temple of Lost Time's exterior, a chest contains the recipe book "Good Godly Gear". It contains recipes for Sacrosanct Staves and Venus' Tears.

In the northeast, the party lands at Zwaardsrust - Whale Way Station. I found no chests here, but there are some sparkly spots. There is a dormant seedling at the northern end.

At Level 44, Serena learns Veronica's spell Kacrack.

In the west, the party lands at Champs Sauvage - Whale Way Station. Behind a stump in the north of the large southeast section, a chest contains the recipe book "An Earring for Every Element". This contains recipes for Cinderblock Earrings, All-Weather Earrings, and Blackout Earrings. There is a locked shrine in the southwest.

Near the middle of the world, the party lands at the Manglegrove - Whale Way Station. By the eastern side of a ruin in the northwest, a chest contains a Meteorang, a good lightning-elemental boomerang for Erik. A locked shrine lies in the south.

In the east, the party lands at the Hotto Steppe - Northern Whale Way Station. Yet another locked shrine is in the southwest. Behind the shrine, a chest contains the recipe book "Even More Dragony Designs". It contains recipes for Red Dragon Rods and Wyrmwands.

In the southeast, the party lands at the Hotto Steppe - Southern Whale Way Station. Behind a fallen tree in the northwest, a chest contains three pieces of Technicolour Dreamcloth.

In the south, the party lands at Gallopolis - Whale Way Station. I found no chests or locked shrines here, but there are plenty of sparkly spots.

In the southwest, the party lands at Laguna di Gondolia - Whale Way Station. Again, I found no chests or locked shrines here. However, by the cliff in the northwest, the party can find a dormant seedling.

The party rests at the Heliodor Region Campsite. Next time, they will revisit some of the ocean islands for new treasure.
