This is video #103 in my playthrough of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. I am playing the Western version for the Sony PlayStation 4. Previously, the party knocked out some quests in Lonalulu and Nautica. Now, they will continue their questathon.

After resuming, the party Zooms to the Warrior's Rest Inn in Zwaardsrust. On the inn's grounds, they meet a minstrel named Luter van Boss. Hilarious. Luter issues the quest "A Ballad of Bravery". He lost his sheet music at a little hut southwest of the Ruins of Dundrasil, and he needs it back.

So, the party Zooms to the Dundrasil Region Campsite. In the southwestern cabin, they open the chest to acquire Luter's Opus. This obviously goes back to Luter at the Warrior's Rest.

The party Zooms back to the Warrior's Rest Inn. There, they turn in Luter's Opus to Luter van Boss. He rewards them with the recipe book "Fine Fashions for Philosophers", which contains recipes for Sage's Staves, Scholar's Caps, Thinking Caps, and Guru's Gloves. Quest complete!

Afterwards, the party Zooms to L'Académie de Notre Maître des Médailles. Just at the entrance to the main building, they find a lips named Madame Labouche. After giving the Luminary an F for fashion, she issues the quest "Madame Labouche's Life Lesson". She tells Davilas to put on weapons, armour, and accessories that will boost his charm stat.

To this end, Davilas equips a Platinum Powersword, a Drasilian Helm, a Mardi Garb, a Prayer Ring, and a Venus' Tear. It appears Davilas's charm must be about 330 or greater.

After getting himself stylish, Davilas reports in to Madame Labouche. Delighted, she hands over the recipe book "Glam Gear for Go-Getters". This has recipes for Tiaras Tremendas and Glad Rags. These two items constitute a costume change for Sylv. Quest complete!

In the entrance hall of the Academy, Davilas talks to Madame Augustine just to the east of the entrance. She issues the quest "A Delayed Diploma". She gives the party a Diplôme de L'Académie to deliver to Liliane, a resident of Sniflheim.

The party Zooms to Sniflheim. Upstairs in the equipment shop, they find a little girl named Lili. When given the diploma, she explains what happened to Liliane. Sounds a little sad.

The party Zooms back to L'Académie and reports in to Madame Augustine. She rewards them with the recipe book "Gear that Glitters". It contains recipes for Twinkling Tuxedos and Shimmering Dresses. Quest complete!

Then, the party Zooms to the Snærfelt. Inside the Scholar's Cabin in the north, they chat with a soldier. He issues the quest "A Dish Served Cold". He asks the party to kill a Type G0, a rarefied foe that appears alongside Killing Machines.

They head to the south and begin poaching Killing Machines. As they do, Sylvando reaches Level 43 and learns Remoreheal.

Eventually, they flush out the Type G0, a very unfriendly robot. Jade with a lightning-elemental lance is an excellent choice. When it has been scrapped, the Type G0 yields the Type G0 Sprocket.

Back at the Scholar's Cabin, the party turns in the sprocket to the soldier. The soldier rewards them with a suit of Metal Slime Armour. Quest complete! The Metal Slime Armour can be equipped on Davilas, Erik, Serena, Sylvando, or Hendrik. It provides mitigation of all elemental damage.

The party Zooms to the Heliodor Region Campsite to rest and save. At Level 44, Davilas learns the crafting ability Kaquadrabash.

Next time, the party will explore the Sky-accessible locations, except for Battleground, which they will save for later.
