This is video #102 in my playthrough of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. I am playing the Western version for the Sony PlayStation 4. Previously, the party visited Havens Above, where they acquired the Guiding Light and learned their next three destinations. They also carried out one of the three quests available in Lonalulu. Now, they will do the other two quests in Lonalulu and the two quests in Nautica.

The party Zooms to Lonalulu. West of the main pier, they find a fisherman who issues the quest "My Kingdom for Some Kanaloamari". He wants some Kanaloamari. This is acquired by slaying a Tentacular with the pep power Tempered Tantrum. Tempered Tantrum requires the protagonist's Flame Slash and Sylvando's Hot Lick. It only requires the protagonist to be pepped up.

After Zooming aboard the ship at the Lonalulu - Sea destination, the party sails north. Tentaculars infest the northern seas, especially between the Insula Orientalis and the coast of Zwaardsrust.

When they encounter a Tentacular, they let Davilas finish it off with Tempered Tantrum. One of Davilas's Luminary abilities is Pep Up, and having it would make this quest a lot easier. When Davilas finally slays the Tentacular with Tempered Tantrum, the party acquires some Kanaloamari.

The party Zooms back to Lonalulu. They present the Kanaloamari to the client. He rewards them with the Pentarang, a new boomerang for Erik. Finally, an improvement over the Magic Circle.

South of the bar, the party finds a self-professed old-timer lounging around. He issues the quest "The Measure of a Man". On the island far to the west of Lonalulu, the Insula Incognita, Davilas and Jade must use the pep power Buff-Buff to defeat a Night Clubber. Buff-Buff requires the protagonist's Unbridled Blade under Greatswords and Jade's Puff-Puff. The protagonist and Jade both have to be pepped up.

After resting, the party Zooms to the Strand so they can sail to the Insula Incognita in the southwest. After a brief sail, they reach the Insula Incognita.

Night Clubbers inhabit the eastern highland of the Insula Incognita, and they are there at all times of day. After getting pepped up, Davilas and Jade finish a Night Clubber off with the pep power Buff-Buff.

When this is done, the party Zooms back to Lonalulu and talks to the old-timer south of the bar. He rewards them with a stylish Venus' Tear. Quest complete! He also reveals the name of a friend of his. Small world!

Next, the party Zooms to Nautica. They get Queen Marina to turn them to fish.

At the Royal Terrarium southeast of the equipment shop, they talk to the curator, a sea turtle. The sea turtle issues the quest "Marking a Momentous Occasion". He asks them to bring back a certain black and glossy object that produces a shockwave.

The party goes to the Courthouse on the lower level of Nautica and talks to the mermaid lawyer. She issues the quest "Justice is Brined" (baa ha ha!). To help her in a case, she asks them to find her mentor and ask him for his notes.

For "Marking a Momentous Occasion", the party Zooms to Lonalulu. At the cannon lady's house in the northeast, they talk to the cannon lady. She readily hands over a Kanono Cannon that the party can take to the Royal Terrarium.

Then, for "Justice is Brined", the party Zooms to the Strand. They sail north a short distance to the Insula Occidentalis. In the hut, they talk to the sailor, who tells them about the Sealicitor. Then, they open the chest and acquire the Sealicitor's Statues.

The party Zooms back to Nautica. They have to get turned to fish again. Then, for "Marking a Momentous Occasion", they report to the sea turtle in the Royal Terrarium. The sea turtle rewards them with the recipe book "Secrets of the Sunken Spirit", which has the recipe for Full Fathom Forks. Quest complete!

For "Justice is Brined", they report to the mermaid lawyer aboard the Court Ship. She rewards them with the Sovereign Seal, an accessory. Quest complete!

For completing 40 quests over the course of the game, the player earns the trophy "Quest to Impress".

The party Zooms to the Heliodor Region Campsite to rest and save.
