This is video #04 in my Dragon Warrior III playthrough. After leaving Aliahan, the party first heads northwest to the village of Reeve. Along the way, Jessica the Wizard reaches Level 6 and learns IceBolt, a powerful new offensive spell (time index 1:03 - 1:21).

Then, the party reaches Reeve (time index 2:05). I am stopping here a little early because the equipment shop has the Training Suit, a piece of body armor for Alyssa, the Martial Artist. Much better than those cheap old Clothes.

After the party leaves town, they head down the island's southwest peninsula to the Promontory Cave, which is across the bay from Aliahan. When the party arrives on the first level of the cave (time index 5:50), there is only one way to go: downstairs.

Downstairs (time index 5:57), there is a side room to the east where the party can grab a Medical Herb. Past the previous room's corridor to the north and then east, they can find some Wayfarer's Clothes in a chest. In a room to the north, a chest contains about 16 Gold.

Back in the previous room, the northeast corridor leads to a set of stairs going up. Up those stairs, the party will find themselves in the Tower of Najima's basement (time index 11:50). From where they arrive in the southwest corner of the floor, they go east to the nearby up staircase.

Up on the tower's first floor (time index 12:23), they encounter some Babbles. They can poison party members with their normal attacks, which was why I stocked up on Antidote Herbs in the previous video. Trust me, you do not want to leave Poison on characters after battle. Alyssa also reaches Level 6 in this battle.

Other annoying enemies in this game are Masked Moths. They can sprinkle a dust that blinds party members.

In the northwest room, which has a green table and a couple of green chairs, there is a stairway leading down to an inn. How fortuitous! Back upstairs, the party goes straight to the eastern room, which leads up to the second floor.

On the second floor (time index 15:34), there are a couple of different ways to go. First, the party heads west and north to the northwest room. A chest here contains about 40 Gold. In the northeast room, there is a stairway leading to an isolated section of the northern part of the third floor (time index 17:22). A chest here contains a Leather Helmet. Nice! Heorot equips this right away.

Back down on the second floor (time index 17:49), the party heads south and around to the southwest room. They find an up staircase here.

The party arrives in the southern part of the third floor's west hall (time index 18:56). Be careful of the edge, lest the party fall out. It won't hurt, but they will have to retrace their steps. To the north, they go east to the second room to the south, which contains a Wing of Wyvern. In this game, the party is no longer restricted to returning to a single town with the Return spell or the Wing of Wyvern. They can now return to almost any town they have visited.

In the room to the west, they find the up staircase to the fourth floor (time index 21:44). They will arrive in the middle room on the floor. The gentleman in green here will freely hand over the Thief's Key. This key can be used to open up the door to the south. Then, the party can quickly exit the tower by jumping over the edge. Alley-oop!
