Dragon Warrior on the NES will take us back to a time when games were much simpler. It wasn't about the graphics, the complex battle system, or the 30 minute cutscenes. Rather it was about a lone hero's quest to save the world, which means that you will need to grind for experience points for hours on end before you are actually able to get anywhere! Tough enemies, expensive items, and very little direction, this is what RPGs used to be about! Just how long will you last before you turn to a strategy guide, or quit playing the game altogether?

This game was known as Dragon Quest on the Famicom in Japan. Many of the initial games in the Dragon Quest series were known as Dragon Warrior games in North America, until recently when games in all regions now go by the name Dragon Quest.
