Dragon's Lair - Atari STe (1989) longplay
"Dragon's Lair" is an interactive laserdisc video game released in 1983 on arcade by Cinematronics, it was ported by ReadySoft Incorporated in 1989 for the Atari ST.

The protagonist Dirk the Daring is a knight attempting to rescue Princess Daphne from the evil dragon Singe who has locked the princess in the foul wizard Mordroc's castle. It featured animation by ex-Disney animator Don Bluth.
The game consists of the cartoon movie running by itself, with the player being required to press the right button at the right time or see one of many death animations.
The success of the game sparked numerous home ports, sequels and related games. In the 21st century it has been repackaged in a number of formats as a retro or historic game.
For the 16-bit computers version, only selected scenes from the original game are used, with all the graphics redrawn from the original cel animation to fit the capabilities of the target machines.
The Atari STe version Hardware supports 4096 colours palette.
