Lead on adventurer, your quest awaits. It's Dragon's Lair

I enjoy playing all the old retro arcade games and like to challenge myself to see how far I can get on one credit. Dragon's Lair is a game that needs no introductions, and is either loved, or hated.

This was groundbreaking in 1983 as it enabled you to effectively play a cartoon. It's more a case of pressing the right button at the right time to progress. The scenes are partially randomised so you will always get them in a different order each time you play. I am using enhancement version 1.1 and this is how the game plays out:

There are 3 rounds, each consisting of 12 scenes/stages. This version always starts with the drawbridge scene, then the crumbling room scene, then the 1st round of 12 stages begins.
The game has 3 scenes to choose from for each stage, so for the 1st round, 1st stage, the game will pick 1 of 3 set scenes at random.
Whether you succeed or fail, you immediately move to the 2nd stage where the game will pick from the next set of 3 scenes.
This will keep going until you either run out of lives, or pass the 12th stage and have lives remaining.
You then go on to the elevator (dropping platform scene). There are 3 sets of 3 platforms which you can choose to exit on, once you exit you move on to round 2. If you fail to exit on to a platform you plummet to your death and have to do the elevator scene again until you either succeed or have no lives left
Once on round 2, the game will go through the 12 stages again, picking at random 1 of the 2 unplayed scenes for that stage. Once all 12 stages have been passed and you have lives remaining you move on to the elevator scene again which will now be a mirror of the 1st elevator scene.
Once completed, you move onto round 3 where all the remaining unplayed scenes will be used (so there is no more randomising of the scenes).
Once you have passed through all 12 stages on round 3, any failed scenes from any of the 3 rounds will now be repeated. If you fail a scene, you will replay it until you succeed (moving on to the next failed scene) or run out of lives.
Once you have completed all of the scenes, you then move on to the Dragon's Lair
