Drakkhen was a game developed by Infogrames in 1989. I think it was a fantasy RPG with a story too big to fit in the hardware of the time. It was ported to the Super Nintendo in 1991 where it was definitely more recognized. I decided to play it through for you because the PC version certainly had its share of "how did you ever manage x?" moments, so I've uploaded a playthrough with text commentary to explain some parts.

The manual has a 29 page short story about the events leading up to your party being sent to the advancing island of the Drakkh to stop the invasion of a draconian race bent on avenging the death of the last dragon on the world of the humans by exterminating every last one of them. An interesting read, but it doesn't help much with the game itself.

So, now we're strong enough to go to the next part of the quest, the castle of the Prince of Water and blunder our way to setting the right flags to continue to the palace of Air. As well as discover the merchant.
