Its a bit cheap and nasty, actually its very cheap and it dont look it when the Dreamcast is put back together.
Its a rubbish solution to a mildly annoying problem.

Bit of background, you know how the Dreamcast when turned on after a bit wants you to set the date?
Thats thanks to Sega's bright idea of including a rubbish little hardily rechargeable battery on the inside. ALL IT DOES IS HOLD THE DATE!!
ITS BLOODY USELESS!
I can only really think of one game that uses the date, Seaman (Huh huh)
You could probably do a better mod with a better rechargeable battery, but this was done on the cheap and is more silly.
And is probably dangerous.

Oh well

If you have no soldering experience, this isnt that hard, you could probably tape the wires in place.
I also take no responsibility if you dick up your Dreamcast by trying this or if it does become sentient and tries to take over the world
