Dreamcatcher Apparatus #1 [Doom 2 wad /w Pandemonia mod]
It's v2.2. This was a trial run. I only made a few changes.
• Made custom difficulty (HMP, half damage taken, half monster health)
• Made pistol full auto.
• Removed the reload from the auto shotty.
• Removed the cooldown of the plasma rifle.
• Reduced self damage by 75%.
Enemy damage is fine. I died 3 times.
My damage is fine if a bit high. I like to kill stuff quickly.
It doesn't make sense to me to have a single weapon that has to reload.
I've always thought the cooldown on the plasma rifle was stupid. If someone wants to make a heat meter then I can get behind it.
The high self damage from explosives makes them borderline useless to me. Without this change I don't think I would ever use them.
As for the other stuff:
• Ammo was very generous. I'll look into lowering it.
• Armor blocks almost no damage. Definitely changing that.
• The monsters, for the most part, are too slow to react. I'll juice em up and hopefully not regret it.
