Drift0r Update #17 - IIWR Mirror's Edge preview
49Just tossing in a quick update to say I'm still alive. School is super super busy so my time for machinima has been drastically cut. The next If It Were Realistic I plan to make is for Mirror's Edge. The plan was to film some first person parkour that analogous to the gameplay. Essentially make it like this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTrf5anN4k8 and the many others like it but perhaps a lot better. Going to try some image stabilization and stuff. It could be funny or cool, or both. Just depends on how long it takes for me to bust my ass. However, even with a tiny flip camera its turning out to be much harder than expected to run, climb, and maintain good filming. A new micro headset camera is coming soon. But for now, take a look at these two clips and tell me which one you think looks better.
