Rest in peace, my Logitech C920. Maybe it's just me, but webcams just...aren't very good. Bad video quality, choppiness, and poor durability.

I have a great camera for my actual videos (a canon rebel sl1/eos 100D), but my understanding is that the sensor might be prone to reheating, so extended recording or streaming is not recommend3ed

So, I thought: phone cameras these days are REALLY good, right? This is my attempt to use my Nexus 6P's software with a livestream, but of course...there are issues with that too! All the software available (such as DroidCam, or EpocCam) have limitations in the free version at 480p, and even when you pay for the pro version, you only go up to 720p. (And then there are other webcam software that aren't designed to work over USB, such as IP webcam...even though I suspect that a USB C/3.1 connection is more reliable than wifi is.)

Later on, I also discuss other setbacks for using a DSLR when streaming -- the poor battery of a DSLR means that I would need an AC adapter. In the video I discussed the Kapaxen ACK-E15 -- and I describe the the prongs don't fit together. Since this video, I have forced the prongs through to fit, and it seems to work appropriately. I have since modified my Amazon review accordingly ;)
