As the years have progressed I've found myself increasingly isolated from society. I call it being on a metaphysical Island, in a work environment only friends and family reside on your Island. Unfortunately, I have found myself isolated on my own. Like a foreigner in his own country, due to my inability to communicate and the appearance of my outer shell. I tend to get pinned in political corner, my island with just myself with a black island shooting racist lies at me and on the other side foreigners try to disrupt my ability to create good quality parts. It is difficult to form allies in this environment due to the political race wrangling going on, I'm turning more white everyday and I have no choice in the matter. Once a machinist always a machinist! I'm not looking forward to walking back onto the battlefield, unarmed and weakened from battle lost. I dream of drowning, need another beer..hopelessness
