Drytron hasn't really felt from off the competitive scene, it is just a little bit outclassed by newer archetypes, but it still being a force to be reckoned. The new banlist helps the deck by letting it have one more Herald of Orange Light, making it be almost as like when it was actually a tier 1 deck (Event though E.V.A. is still missed a lot for this deck).

Drytrons, by themselves, do little to nothing. So we rely on other fairy cards (Vanity's, the Heralds and the Cyber Angels) that can help it stand its ground or pull up an actual board. That said, let me describe what can be done with this build (which is meant to go either first or second):

Drytron Meteonis Quadrantids is there as he is the biggest stick that can be brought. He can be used to bust the enemy spells or to remove the big bodies on the field (because attack power is something of which Drytrons struggle against). He ain't a brick at all, even though using him is really useful, but kinda situational.

Ultimateness is there to negate. That's his deal and Drytron is the only deck that can bring him without being screwed too much. Also, discarding Ultimateness through Herald of Orange Light's effect and then summoning it from the grave is probably the best way to use Orange Light's effect without being too screwed.

Chaos MAX is one the best going first cards, as long as you can link him off for Dyna Mondo and still have somebody on the field to be tributed on your opponent's turn.

If you've drawn Harpie's Feather Storm or was able to activate Triple Tactics Thust to search for it, summon Kikinagashi and go for it. Harpie's Feather Storm can shutdown almost every deck.

Natasha is not once per turn, use her a lot to clear your opponent's board.

Many of the Extra deck cards are Ultimate Slayer targets to help us go second.

Considerations:

Why no Choju? Since this deck can search a lot, there's no real need for Choju, so, instead of using him, go for Vanity's Ruler (or Lancea): that's a better use for your normal summon.

Herald of Green Light is also useful, don't forget about that boi.

Why not the new Ursarctic/Drytron main deck monster? He's more of a Ursarctic support card than a Drytron one. Also, Drytron competitive lists don't even consider it as a Side Deck option.
