Since Draco Face-off was unlimited, Dracoslayer can be a consistent engine for some pendulum decks: Metalfoes is no exception. Still, it is about Metalfoes we talking about here, so it ain't even a tier 2 threat. I really like their aesthetic and play style, being one of my favorite decks because of that constant pop and search strategy style, but without Electrumite, it suffers a lot.

I tried to go as pure as possible with metalfoes, but let's be real, it is a 2016 deck which received support in 2021, so it ain't the best thing. Draco Face-Off and Dracoslayer cards serves as way to acquire more material for your plays. Still, there are some positives and possibilities for this deck, let's break down what you could try to achieve and what is possible with this archetype. (Remember: just like the "The Agent" deck i've made some days ago, don't take this list as competitive, Metalfoes aren't even on the tiered radar).

We must run the vanilla ones as we must have as most Metalfoes as possible in hand to pull some kind of combo (Again, it's an old deck of which time has not been kind to). If you got enough Metalfoes to search for 1 or 2 "Metalfoes Combination" and a way to pop'em (Magician's Souls or Beyond the Pendulum), go for it. Otherwise, try their fusion spells (what one would be adequate to the board you have) and either go for Orichach or Alkahest.

Fullmetalfoes Fusion is a great way to bring a Parametalfoes Azortless or Alkahest on your opponent's turn.

The level 7 monsters must be prioritized in order to bring Vortex Dragon.

Metalfoes Counter is probably the best way to summon Vanquisher, whichi is a free banish on summon.

The positives:

If you have Super Poly, try to leave one Metalfoes on the field; they literally have the best Super Poly target in the game, that being Crimsomnite.

If you consider using Metalfoes for their Super Poly potential, they're best splashed as a little engine into other decks, and there are some potential candidates: Kashtira, Spright, Unchained, Endymion or Z-ARC (with the new support) being valid examples.

Wakaushi and a little Superheavy Samurai engine could be used in the deck without hurting it's consistency, but this time I've worked with Dracoslayer.
