DS1 The Scorched Contract Mod Finale
0After spending an unreasonable amount of time trying to find a foolproof way of getting past the gargoyle before Nito consistently, I made a decision. Since getting stuck on an imbalanced part of the runback to the boss is tedious both to watch and to experience, I'll be using save states to skip repeating Nito's,Bed of Chaos' and Gwyn's runbacks, since all three are either long, or have extra enemies that make getting through the section repeatedly a slog. With that out of the way, we manage to finish this mod today. Nito goes down easily enough after a couple of attempts and so does Seath. Bed of Chaos and Gwyn are a bit of an obstacle, but we take both of them down in the end. So that's The Scorched Contract mod! I enjoyed a lot of aspects of this mod, especially the stragetic nature of it and some of its more unconventional methods of increasing difficulty.
