In this part of our playthrough we swap to a melee build. While magic has a big focus in this mod, melee has had a major overhaul in its balance. Here we're using the Leviathan Axe, which (according to the devs) will be put into a covenant because of its power. As you'll see, it's extremely powerful, and may seem overpowered, but we're honestly quite optimized for it.

For reference, you can two cycle Friede in NG with Lightning Twin Blades. Here we one cycle her, but we've yet to test out NG+, so there it should feel less staggering.
